Oh, wow. Hello, this was written two years ago (Really, two years ago??) but I just found it and it is incredible.

I love Jim and Pam together, but when they were apart and you just knew that Jim died inside every time he had to watch her go home with Roy - the wonder and the unknown in their relationship, you know? That's what drew me to them.

It's really kind of rare to read something that so easily takes the imprisonment that Then-Jim-and-Pam felt apart from each other and crack it open for the world to see. It's even more rare to see this: There’s an ache in her stomach, her chest; she doesn’t trust her legs. She makes fish faces at him until he smiles, and it’s better. It’s okay.

I wish I could get these words to line up with how I feel, haha. I'm too verbal. But I honestly, honestly felt something from this piece. I read it twice just to see the tiny details that so mattered to the whole of the story.
